I had a super fun work out class and I brought home lei's for the boys.
Graham loved his and wore the rest of the evening. The thing here to notice is how sweet the boys are being. They had fought and irritated each other ALL summer, so this was a nice treat, seeing them so nice to each other.

one more thing
I thought the next morning, why not get up and build furniture with 3 little boys running around. Because it is crazy, chaotic, not to mention all the tools they want to hold. And the hardware! Bennett kept trying to fill every hole with hardware. And Elliott sat in the middle of everything, and Graham was the foreman. He kept "whistling" every 20 minutes or so to let me know I was taking too long.

adventure day 2 haircuts!
different day, different lunch place. This time we stayed closer and had golden arches. But we went inside. Totally a treat because we never go inside.

special treat: getting to play's mommy's kindle. I am awesome.
Then, we went next door and got haircuts. Yes, I took 3 boys to get 2 of their hairs cut. We walked right in thankfully and had the place to ourselves. They did great.
He was blinking, but it looks like he is scared. He was the better out of the two (are we surprised?!)

last summer adventures
It occurred to me the last week before school started that half of our summer crew would be at school all day, so we should go out and have an adventure. And by have an adventure, I mean have lunch and go to 1 place in between naps with the 3 boys and 1 adult. Me.
So, our first day, we went to Chik-Fil-A and had lunch. The boys were awesome and someone helped me carry the drinks out to the car.
Happy campers with full bellies. We then headed to Barnes and Noble.
Books and train table: 2 favorites with this crowd.
back home. I said they could pick out one thing and Bennett went for legos. Next time, I'm specifying 1 book. It was fun, the boys were so good and I was glad we did it.

his place
Graham made himself a place at the back of the couch by the wall. He has pillows, a blanket, his friends and kindle. He is all set.
lego mania
Bennett really does love his legos. Gigi and pawpaw got him a base plate and more legos so he can start building cool stuff. He started as soon as we got home!
I built him a windmill, and he is adding modifications to it.
I also built him a train and yellow car. And as far as I know, no one has eaten a lego yet!
new baby T
my brother-in-law, Brett's brother, had a baby girl at the end of July. We went up to see her. The first, and only, girl grandbaby on Brett's side. She is super cute!
The girls! Jess did great at getting her out. We will see is she takes after her momma and has some read in her hair! Right now she looks like a clone of her daddy, Kylie.

Elliott showed off when he knew Bennett was underneath him in the basket. I think he rather liked it. Bennett was not a fan. And I am the awesome mom who filmed the whole thing!

Elliott doesn't sit or stand still for long. He is always getting on top of the table.
and trying to climb the bar stools, he has been successful one time in getting all the way up to the island. That about stopped my heart when I looked over and saw his on the island!
He enjoys getting his own snacks.
And he is learning to love pizza.
