wedding day!

Mary and I headed to the wedding venue to get out hair done early, and boy, it looked amazing!

I'm so sorry I cannot remember your name lady who did my hair so greatly, but I loved it so much!

The wedding was beautiful and fantastic and we are so excited to welcome J and Z to our family!

rehearsal dinner photos

time for a wedding! Bennett getting jazzed up at the rehearsal dinner for K &J. He and Graham had on their special outfits, and were adorable. A big thanks so my mom and dad who came up to keep an eye on the boys so Brett and I could be in the wedding party!

We asked Graham to work on his Christmas list, so he asked to go to the NASCAR website and made a list forever long. He loved picking cars he didn't have with Brett. It was so cute. 

At one of my baby appointments, I got to bring in the boys. It poured down rain on us getting in and out, so we were soaked. They were troopers and made everyone smile.

an amazing moment

While we were visiting in FW, my sister calls and says, she is having her baby!! So, Bennett and I spent a sleepless night (he knew what was happening) waiting for daylight and Mary to drive us to the hospital. I don't know if I have ever been so nervous or keyed up as I was on that drive down. Thankfully, I was able to make it in time, she had not started pushing yet, and my parents were there to watch the boys so I could help Angela with what she needed. It was amazing, my own national geographic channel right there. I will never forget watching my sister find this strength to push a baby out of her body, and keep a smile and laughter on her face. She did an amazing job (so did Craig and I) and she gave birth to her son, Cohen. Love him! I was so honored to be a part of her day and this moment, and it will be with me forever. Great job Sissy and Craig, and welcome Cohen!

Bennett in a tux

All of us got dressed up to be in K & J wedding, so we had to get Bennett fitted for his tux. He had to try on the pants so they could get hemmed, and this was the cutest photo we got of him, running around the store with his little tux on. He stopped in the mirrored area and sat down.

Graham has his own little nook area....and he fell asleep like this one night. 

I was just glad I was able to capture it on film.

Finally, after what feels like forever, our stuff shows up! Yeah!

We were super pumped and excited. My parents were able to come help me with everything; Brett was on a business trip. We made it homey for him when he came home!

sissy baby shower & marching band!

We headed back down to Evansville for my sister's baby shower! Above, I asked my dad to read this book we had gotten; Graham didn't want to hear it (I think he knew he would sleep) and he did. By like page 5 that kid was sleeping. 

How super amazing lucky was it that the same night we were there, a band competition was happening where I went to high school? I was a marching band professional myself, so as soon as I found out, I literally ran to the school (in a car of course). Sissy and Craig came with me and people, let me tell you, I was so overwhelmed, I cried. This is my band teacher, Mr. Heiger, who no matter how long it' been since I have seen him, he always remembers me!

Meanwhile, back at N&P house, Bennett did not want to go to bed, so he got a second chance and was adorable. 

This was the photo my mom sent me of the boy while I was watching music on the field. How cute!

I know, a weird photo, but my mom took Graham to the store and he thought this was cool, so they took a photo of him holding it. They are weird but fun kiddos

sometimes, I amaze myself with what I can come up with on a rainy day when I have to pack up stuff and get it to the car with two crazy kiddos.

Graham eventually got on top of it and we had to put it back to normal, but it was awesome while it lasted. 

bath tub and 1 million kids!

We do have 2 bathrooms now, amazing, and one of them has a huge bathtub. Hello bathtime full of bubbles and splashing (not to mention giant spills and water everywhere to clean up)

We also have 2 mirrored closets that the boys loved looking at themselves in. 

And if they do it just right, there are a million kids! Woah watch out!
