Updates

1 month until we meet our newest member of the family!!! 

Had an ultrasound today. Our "little" guy is weighing in at 6 lbs, 3oz. Heartbeat is 141 and I am still measuring a few days ahead. He has cute chubby cheeks and is getting cramped in there. I won't see him again until I meet him in person. Getting excited and all freaked out at the same time ! 

Graham has been really excited for the new monsters university movie coming out. He stops and watches the previews they come on and asks to watch it on my kindle. So tonight, we had a pajama party  and he requested the monster movie. So we got in our jammies, Graham wore his Christmas Mickey jammies, and got under our monster blanket ( thanks Kimmy) and started the movie. We didn't know how he would do with the monsters but he laughed and never got scared. That is what Brett tells me since I fell asleep through most of the movie. Typical ! We put on a movie so he will sleep and I am the one who falls asleep! But it was super cute and we are going yo try to do it again soon. 

Bug racing weekend coming up. Whoever though I would say that. Indy 500 in the afternoon Sunday with a night NASCAR race following that!! Graham will be so excited !!

outfits

It is just 11 am on Friday...and Graham has asked to have his shirt changed 4 times and new pants twice. He doesn't need either of them to be changed, he just wants them to be changed. He goes in his room, picks out a new shirt and then asks to have it changed. Is this normal? It is adorable...he loves showing me what he has picked out and we usually call Brett/Nana/Gigi to "show" them what Graham has picked out as well. So it is fun...until I run out of pants and have a million pounds of laundry to do!

Pillow stealer

Again, he loves this pillow. We played in it all day.

Awesome tracks

I am so proud of the train track I built yesterday. It was awesome. I say was because it was destroyed today by a 3 year old. At least I got a picture. And Brett saw it too. He is amazing with building tracks, so I was excited to give him some competition. Don't expect anything new coming from me, I am still surprised I did so well this time!

Adorable

It has been hot here...real hot. We are staying low and keeping cool as best a Graham and pregnant mommy can. He decided our bed was a cool spot to take a quick nap. He made himself comfortable all by himself. Why doesn't this happen at bed time!! Yes, some where with him, is a race car !

Graham faces

Just a few... The first one is happy believe it or not. Then sad, then who knows. He is adorable. I love his hair too, with the little side flip.

hyper active

We have started giving Graham allergy medicine to help with....well, allergies. It seems to be working, but holy cow, does it give this kid a major dose of hyper activity. Like, seriously, he is running all the time. Maybe it is because I only have a handful of weeks leftover, but I don't have anything to match his constant moving. Yowzah....like right now, he is climbing over the couch, and falling on the cushions. Saying this is awesome. Repeat. He has started carrying a stool around so he can stand up on it and see thingies better that are up on the counters (things that you could hide from him are now out in the open). He is becoming a dare devil as well, throwing himself into you or over the couch with reckless abandon.
Cute story...today, he had carried around 3 cars from the movie Cars 2: Nigel, Raul Caroule and Max Schnell. They are friends and he has literally carried them with him everywhere today. It has been super cute. When he can't find one, he comes to you with this sad face saying, "Momma, where's Nigel (his fave)?" You of course drop what you are doing to fix it, and you get major kudos once you find Nigel. Precious.

Belly check

I am so lucky to have a little boy who does belly checks at home. This truck has a special part that is used to check my belly ( and Graham's ).  I got a special check today. Everything looks good. Little brother is a mover!!

Caped red heads

I have been doing a lot of laundry. Graham loves laying in the clean laundry and is not so helpful when I want to fold it. We were genius last night with capes. Both boys had one and they chased each other around. It was awesome!! Brett is such an amazing dad, I love watching them together. They make my heart smile. And I folded laundry so we all won! 

Mother's Day

What a great day! I got two naps, a grape slushie with tator tots and grilled burgers and corn!! Amazing. Graham took a nap on the way to grape slushie, so I read cool presidential facts to Brett from my new book. How lucky is he? And we played with sidewalk chalk as well, even though it was freezing out. Happy day to all the moms !!

Coloring

A place to read

He found his own place to read a book. Graham and I "read" to each other. It is really special. This was a first though. Brett says he gets this from me. Nice. 

Party time

I had to work last Friday, so Brett and Graham were going to have a party. Boys only. I got this photo at 7:30...seems like party never got started. Or if it did, it didn't last too long. 

Stickers

We got some new stickers from Gigi and Pawpaw that we had to play with immediately. He looks so grown up! 

Rainbow

Graham saw his first rainbow last week !! He kept his eye on it too and let us know where it was as we drove  home. It was awesome!! We are pretty sure we saw the whole thing too!

At the doctor

Graham checked out the fish, the new carpet, and the blood pressure cuff at his doctor appointment. He had so much energy it was crazy. He definitely is the life of the waiting room.

Heart pillow

This pregnant pillow is a favorite of Graham and mine. He loves to lay in it anywhere and anytime. Which means sometimes he doesn't share so well. He made a heart shape with it today. Amazing!!

Little hat

Our friend Jennifer made this for Graham when he was little. We tried it on... It kinda fits still. Kinda. He is a big helper with laundry. Loves sitting in the basket.

Belly art

Sometimes when you need a place to put stickers, momma's belly is the best place. Hope you like cars stickers little brother!

Car crib

Just in case you were wondering... Race cars can ride safely and swiftly on the crib. Graham tested, Brett approved. Brett had help with putting up the crib this weekend. He and I can only imagine how many cars we will hear and find in the baby's crib. Can't wait!!
