Road Trip to PA

Graham got an entire week off for fall break, and we took advantage of no school and went back to PA to visit our friends! We left at dinner time on a Friday evening with a car packed with anything and everything and 3 boys and 2 very tired parents. What were we thinking? Who knows, but we love adventures!

We are absolutely crazy for driving overnight. This was our first road trip with 3 boys, and man, we were glad to get there. Brett and I barely slept, and the boys didn't get much more sleep than we did. Once one woke up, then another was up, and then before you got the first one settled back down, the third was also awake. We were watching movies pretty much all night and had to stop alot for coffee, to switch drivers, to take a nap, to pee, and to hold a little boy who couldn't be in his car seat anymore. But we made it and were so glad. First stop, our old blue house!

I love this photo of Graham. He has gotten to much braver now that he is in school. He looks like he should be in a magazine, he is so darn cute!

He had a physical therapy appointment before we went to the store. He last about 3/4's of the way through before he fell asleep. So sweet.

this post makes me laugh. While trying to get a cute photo of both Bennett and Elliott, Bennett decided he wanted none of it, and ran and hid under the jumper. You can see him behind Elliott in the pictures. I think he thinks he is hiding, when you can totally still see him. And Elliott is adorable too

this kiddo napped for 3.5 hours and woke up right when his brothers went to bed. We got some great time with just him and not having to worry or handle his brothers. It was like having 1 kid again! He is getting so good at sitting up and this toy, with a little back up help from Brett, is a big help 

Since he wasn't sleeping anytime soon, we did some face timing with grandparents. He is working on his crawl. Up on all fours.

And when you need a break, you have daddy to help out.

Sweet sweet Bennett. We finally threw away his bottles (I know, I know way too long, we have issues with letting go of stuff) and got him drinking out of juice boxes. My mom found this cool holder so he doesn't squeeze he box and make a mess. And he loves it. He hasn't really had milk since he let bottles go, but I am hoping we will get back with it soon. Graham stopped drinking milk when he cut bottles out, and Bennett is being the same way. They must be related.

being so close means I get to see his guy a lot. ANd he will know his cousins and they will be pals.
