The big tree!!
We tried getting a tree from the local Boy Scout troop but we were unimpressed by their choice of 10 trees and we didn't think any of them could help get it on top of the car. So went to Lowes and found one. It was perfect and cheap. Graham helped get it ready.
I said to Graham go by the tree and smile and this is what I got. Love that smile!!

O Christmas Tree (we had 3!)
This tree was in a front windows so when you drove by our house you would see a tree. The lights kept burning out so by Christmas it looked pretty pathetic. But this was our original tree. We got it in Philly.
This tree was upstairs with the color lights the kids love. It was also our night light. It was magical to have it on all night. You could see it from all the rooms.
Both of these were not real and had no ornaments. Our big, real tree was downstairs. It was great!!!

sweet sweet Elly bath
this little boy, like his brothers, love the water and loves to take baths. He has started standing up as well and really playing with the bubbles.

boys weekend
While I was gone, Santa came riding into town on a firetruck! The boys got to see and were so excited.
And Brett built the best tent ever. They left it set up for me. It was awesome!

This is how Bennett eats chicken nuggets. He eats the head, arms, legs and tails. Leaves the bodies. And we couldn't find his juice cup holder so Brett improvised with s colts koozi.

funeral family time
my uncle passed away int the middle of the month. I went back home to attend his funeral with my sister. Brett and the boys stayed home and had a boys weekend, no mom's allowed. It was nice having some time to myself, but weird at the same time. Above is my sister and I and my cousin Nick.

Because you aren't busy enough with the holiday season, Bennett and Elliott both got sick. Like go to the doctor three days in a row sick. Turns out they both had upper respiratory infections and ended up with ear infections too. Sigh...Bennett slept while waiting for the doctor above. My kids never sit still in the doctor office unless they don't feel well. Poor kiddo. We ended up getting a nebulizer to help Elliott out with his breathing too. Too much man, and the week before Christmas!
Bennett got to ride in his brother's car seat as a special treat sine he was not feeling well. You can see it on his face.

Since he was not feeling wells, he was a big snuggler. I didn't mind a bit.
Elliott feeling better and getting into the presents. Thankfully, the nebulizer and the antiniotics helped quickly and we had a great Christmas!

he sat on the island and talked to me the whole time I wrapped presents. His favorite part? Writing our initials down on the from line on the labels.

this kid loves riding in his brother's car seat. He got a special treat when graham wasn't in the car. I think he likes to see different things out the window.

Bennett was all ready to help Brett put a star on top. We have an angel my mom made, but we also always put up a star for the boys.
He kept taking it back down, and putting it back up, but we finally got it up there.
Graham helped put ornaments on too. In the same place but it looked good.
