Happy Halloween!

We decided to spend our Halloween day at a pumpkin fest near where we live. We were expecting it to be super crowded, but I guess since it was kinda sprinkling, no one was there. Which was awesome. And we got a kid in for free=sweet (thank you rain!) We also got our very own tractor ride around the grounds. The boys loved and Graham kept throwing straw into the air. It was so fun. And we got a great family picture above!

They had these wagons where you got to ride around like in a train format. Bennett was not too sure at the beginning, but ended up really liking it. Graham, of course, thought it was cool.

Next, we did a corn maze. Brett and I were prett sure we could get out ok, but we ended up back tracking and going back out the way in It was really hard!

They also had a pumpkin patch for the kids and we got more pumpkins. And Graham found a stem and thought it was gold.

They also had a section with animals and we saw chickens, ducks, a rabbit, cows, donkeys, sheep, goats, and pigs. 

Elliott has been kinda wonky lately, and we think here are bottom teeth coming in. We are trying to see in this picture.

Elliott's 1st Halloween

Happy Halloween from our family to yours!

We didn't dress up this year. The boys wore Halloween shirts and were adorable. I didn't get a good photo of that because Bennett was not in the mood to cooperate. 

We did sit outside and hand out candy. Graham got really excited for the kids when the came up. We last about an hour, had to come in, then we went back out in little spurts. It started raining and got dark, so we called it a night. It was a great day and the boys were exhausted! Happy Halloween!

3 brother bath time!

these boys got a special treat and got a super big bath in our tub. It means more fun and more water everywhere, so we don't so it a lot, but they do love it when we do. And they all 3 got to be together, so a triple bonus!

The Zoo

We had not yet been to nana and pawpaw's zoo, so we took the day to check out the animals. Neither I nor my parents had been since we were kids, so this was a treat for all of us. They have built this very cool amazon rain first walk through. There was a lot to look at. 

Graham was showing pawpaw something and held onto his hand. It was precious. 

we thought this was an animal the Octonauts visit, but it wasn't.

Checking out the ducks. They were crazy flying around and attaching each other. 

Bennett had this adorable stance when he was looking at something. Bent over, hands behind his back. 

The jaguar was very active. He was walking around and came right up to the glass in front of the kids. He went outside too and got down like he was hunting birds. It was so cool. 

see how close he got to the glass? They never do that!

They had this cage thing so you could get a closer look at him. My mom got in there with the boys!

This used to be a monkey ship with water all around it. It doesn't have that same function anymore, but I can remember loads of times watching monkeys swing around on it and running around it.

The otters were so cool. The boys got to sit inside this tube and the otters would swim up to it and over it and back and forth. It was really something cool.
