Graham 5th Birthday Cake

Graham picked out the colors himself, and it looks just like him. Since we are back in state, we were able to get the same place who made our wedding cake to make Graham's birthday cake. IT WAS DELICIOUS!!! And super colorful. 

He specifically asked for the happy birthday candles. 

And he picked out the numbers 5 and 21 to on top. I love this kid and his love of numbers. He wanted it to say 67 on it too. 

During the singing of his happy birthday song! Wearing his America t-shirt. 

And he asked his best buddy pal to help him blow out the candles.

 I am pretty sure this was Elliott's favorite position while growing in the womb. Every ultrasound, and let's face it, I saw him weekly for quite a while, he had at least one hand up by his head. If you ask Lorrie, my ultrasound lady (i had one) she always tried to get that perfect face shot but he always had a hand up by his face. So far, he seems to like this hand positioning best, but who knows how he will be in a month. Look how big he is getting!

this is a band used for exercising...or for awesome head band wearing. Funny enough, we have had these bands and never once have they been used for exercising. But they have ALWAYS been used for head band wearing. I like that about us. 

And this is an awesome bow that was received on a birthday package for Graham (Thanks Kimmy!)

It is the perfect circle shape for Graham's head, AND he wore for a few photos.

Graham is 5!

Graham is 5. We have a 5 year old. Holy moly! He is a crazy kid who remembers everything and talks all the time. He is fun and spunky and never quiet or dull. He is so smart and loves to learn new things. He is a great big brother. He is such a fun kid and we are so glad he is ours!

who is the longest?

to get the older 2 to lay on the floor with the youngest one, I asked them to see who was the longest...brilliant. Graham was right, he is the longest, but they did it anyway.

because I have perfect timing, I thought tonight would be a good time to get some family photos. We all had eaten, and only 1 of us was crying, so we tried it. Graham and daddy helped me get the camera set up.

Painting pottery and feet

In keeping with tradition with the other kiddos, we headed to a pottery studio to get Elliott's feet on a plate. Graham painted a race car (and finished Bennett's) and talked the entire time. I painted plates as fast as possible since Bennett was having none of being inside. He wanted to run and we of course, went at nap time, so he was a handful. 

Thankfully, the pottery girl helped us get his feet on the plates as quickly as possible. Success! And we get them in a week! 

It's. 7:15 am. Why are we awake ?

Good news ... This is a premie outfit which is clearly too small. Yeah!!! 

Bennett and Elliott

Bennett runs over to where Elliott is every time he makes a noise. He pokes his tummy and points at his nose and hands. It is so cute. He even helps pat his back for burping. I hope they will be friends.
