We started out our vacation by driving over night from PA to MI. We stopped in Fort Wayne to see Grandpa and Gigi at the MS Walk. We were able to see a bunch of other family there as well, and after a really great lunch, we drove the rest of the way to South Haven MI. We met nana and pawpaw there (they had already unpacked all their stuff and moved in for the week :D) After we picked out our room and got all our car unloaded, we headed out to the beach to see the sun set. Little did we know, we were about an hour too late, but we still got to see some spectacular views and enjoyed the time with my parents. Graham had not one, but two sets of hands to hold while we walked over to the beach access. It was so cute.

He LOVES to kick sand, water, rocks, anything he can kick, he is a fan. The water was absolutely FREEZING, but it was fun to be on a beach. We kept calling it the ocean but it was really a lake.

The house we stayed at had a balcony that wrapped around the whole second level, which became where we played soccer. Check out how good his kick is!! Must be like his dad!
The beach had a light house so we walked down to check that out. It was pretty neat and had really great views.
We did a lot of this while walking places. You didn't want Graham to fall in the water, so you kept a good hold of him, which led to him flying a lot. I love his face in this photo

The third day we were there it was so freezing during the night, like low 30's!! The next morning was a chilly one, and as you can see from the photos, we all were wearing pants and long sleeves and blankets!!

We found this super awesome wagon in the garage and took it on several walks. We know own our own here at the house. It is a sweet wagon.

Finally a warm beach day. I wore long sleeves as my sun block, then took it off and forgot to apply sunscreen, ooops. We got most of Graham covered. Enjoying a quick snack before we made sand things.

We found a bakery the next morning, fresh donuts!, and then walked down to the pier to watch the boats go out. It was really nice.

Graham totally chased a bird into the water. The bird flew over the water, Graham fell in the water. He was so upset and done with the water for that day.
I made this sand thing for Graham. I call it a thing because I don't know what it is. It does have jeeps carrying rocks out of the sand pit. I thought that made sense.
Again, cold water. I love that Aunt Pippy brought her book out with her. They are trying to get out of the water but they can't feel their feet!

After he fell in the water, he only wanted to lay on daddy. So we got a quick family picture.
Graham got Uncle Craig to watch Cars with him. I think they both enjoyed it. This was the week before the Indy 500.
After a super fantastic week in Michigan, we all headed home. Brett, Graham and I stopped back in Fort Wayne to spend some time with grandpa and gigi over the long weekend.
